cueSim’s Helicopter Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT) has been designed
to meet the requirements of JAR-STD 3H Levels 2 and 3 - and MCC.
The helicopter FNPT is suitable for:
• ATPL Integrated Course 55hrs in FNPT level 2/3
• CPL Integrated Course 35hrs in FNPT level 2/3
• CPL Modular Course 10hrs in FNPT level 2/3
• Single engine I/R Modular 35hrs FNPT level 2/3
• Multi Engine I/R Modular 40hrs in FNPT level 2/3
• MCC 20hrs in FNPT level 2/3 MCC
The cueSim helicopter FNPT level 2/3 is offered as as a generic type 2 or 3 and Multi-Crew
Co-Operation (MCC) helicopter FNPT, representative of the 2,500kg - 3,600kg twin
turbine helicopter class, which includes aircraft types such as the EC 135 & 145,
Augusta 109, MD902 and AS355.
Designed from the outset to provide maximum training benefit, the FNPT is offered
with on-board Instructor Operating System (IOS) utilizing the latest display technology.
The baseline Field of View (FoV) is 40 deg vertical x 150 deg horizontal but extended
FoV of 60 deg x 210 can be supplied if required. The device can be supplied as fixed
base or with electric 6 DoF motion.
Being an all-electric system, there is no need for complex installation facilities
(such as dedicated pump rooms), enabling operating costs to be kept to a bare minimum.
The simulator is very compact, with the full motion device's envelope contained within
an area of approximately 6.2m x 6.4m and a height of 4.5m.
